LICI has been operating in Fiji for over 54 years now and is one of the premier financial institutions in the country. LICI over the last three years has surged ahead of its competitors in the life insurance market and established clear market leadership. As per the Insurance Annual report of the Reserve Bank of Fiji for the year 2009, LICI's share of new life insurance policies sold is 64% and that of New business premium is 56% clearly indicating the company's growing stature and leadership. LICI has also been operating with a great degree of efficiency- managing costs and maximising returns to customers.
