LICI rewards sales agents

Life Insurance Corporation of India awarded its top sales agents during an awards function yesterday at the Southern Cross Hotel in Suva.
General manager Krishnan Narasimhan said he looked forward to the New Year, 2012.

“This is an occasion where we invited all our sales agents from across the country to travel down to Suva. It was an ideal opportunity for them to catch up with colleagues, their family and friends who live in Suva or maybe do some shopping before they return home. "

Out of the 140 sales agents that the company has, about 125 agents were present at the meeting.
Mr Narasimhan said this was a very important event in the company’s annual calendar.

“It is the first sales agents meeting for the New Year where usually we take stock of what happened in the last financial year.” he said.

He said the meeting also presented an opportunity for all offices to plan out strategies for the next financial year.

“Each one will take upon himself or herself the roles and responsibilities and there are new challenges in the market. But this event also allows us to reward and recognise the top performers of 2011,” Mr Narasimhan said.
