Life Insurance Corporation of India, Fiji Operations has been awarded the coveted "Achievement in Business Excellence Award" under the 2009 Fiji Business Excellence Award framework. The annual FBEA night was held at the Novotel, Lami, Suva on Saturday the 3rd October 2009. His Excellencey the President of the Republic of Fiji Islands Ratu Epeli Nailatikau was the chief guest. 18 organizations were honored at three different levels- The Commitment to Business Excellence, Achievement in Business Excellence and the Fiji Business Excellence Prize. LICI has the unique distinction of being ther only insurance company in Fiji to be accorded this recognition. LICI had earlier won the "Commitment to Business Excellence" award in 2008.
